Care tips for Roses

How do you feel when you arrive somewhere after a journey? Chances are your roses feel much the same. Welcome them to their new home by following the simple steps in our care card.

• Cut your rose stems at an 45 degree angle under running water with sharp knife
• Place them into a clean vase with room temperature water and add flower food
• Leaves should all be above waterline of the vase to prevent bacteria from building up
• Change their water every few days
• Cut the stems every few days to keep them looking fresh
• Keep your roses away from fruits and drafty places

You can also perk up any heat-exhausted blossoms by soaking the entire flower in a sink of cold water for about an hour. Feel free to talk to your roses, but be careful not to cause unease to other guests who may be visiting.
